Profile

Peter Gibb is a former partner and Board Member of Interaction Associates. During his career with IA, he consulted to and trained leaders at dozens of companies and organizations including Ford, DuPont, McKinsey, Monsanto, and the United Way. 

Peter is a co-founder of the Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC).

Prior to joining IA, he worked in the U.S. Foreign Service and as a Communications Officer in U.S. Air Force. Earlier, Peter taught English as a Second Language, and Spanish and German languages at the high school and college level.

Since retiring from IA, Peter has been active in writing, teaching, and coaching. His first published book, King of Doubt, won three literary awards. He has also written and illustrated several children’s books.

Peter recently completed a work of non-fiction, Mindful Conversation: The Magic of Connection, forthcoming in 2021. He teaches classes based on the book and the CARE model: curiosity, authenticity, respect, and empathy. 

Peter graduated from Brown University and did his graduate work at the National University at San Marcos, Peru and UCLA.
