Stay Connected. Stay Productive. Ride the Wave Together.
Separated from our teammates, it’s harder to stay aligned, adapt to change, respond to opportunities, and maintain team cohesion. Some remote managers fall back to command-and-control or hands-off strategies – neither of which bring out the best in them or their teams.
Collaborating from a distance is now an essential skillset for leaders and individual contributors. It’s not a challenge for any one generation. People under 35 don't have remote collaboration handled, just as people over 50 aren't beyond rescue. These days, no one is entitled to say: Working remotely is just not my jam!
Everyone should be learning to stay better connected from a distance, more productive, calm in unfamiliar circumstances, and exceptionally kind to themselves and others.
