Profile

In his 20 years at IA, Jamie led multi-year consulting and training engagements in both the private and public sectors in the United States, Switzerland, Germany, and the United Kingdom. His projects focused on research team effectiveness, organizational change, and strategy alignment.

Jamie’s private sector clients included: F. Hoffman-LaRoche, Shell, Merck-Serono and EMD Serono (USA), Onyx, Baxalta, Sun Micro Systems,  Genentech, Pfizer, and United Airlines. In the public sector, Mr. Harris consulted to Santa Clara County and Contra Costa Counties, CA, the Defense Distribution Agency of the Department of Defense, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and the non-profit law firm Environmental Defense.

Mr. Harris served as a “management mentor” for Harvard Business School Publishing “Manage Mentor” series, published a variety of L&D industry magazine articles, and is the author (with David Straus) of “Theory in Action: Building Collaboration in a County Public Agency”, in Creating a Culture of Collaboration, International Association of Facilitators Handbook.

Prior to joining IA, Jamie was the managing partner of the San Francisco law firm Evans, Latham, Harris and Campisi. During his law practice Mr. Harris published many articles on real estate and business law issues in legal magazines and newsletters.

Mr. Harris graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics and earned his J.D. from Yale Law School.
