Dion Garcia is a seasoned Operations professional working in a services environment for the past 24 years in internal and client facing roles. Dion’s current focus is managing the Interaction Associates’ technology stack, supporting business analysis, and process improvement.

Dion originally joined Interaction Associates in 1998 after spending several years working internationally in the music business. After departing IA in 2012, Dion assumed leadership roles in Operations and Resource Management for multi-national corporations spanning the technology, consulting, and life sciences industries. The tools and methodologies he learned at Interaction Associates enabled Dion to be an effective leader, strong collaborator, and systems thinker in all of his subsequent roles. Those tools and methodologies also led a path back to Interaction Associates, where he hopes to build on what he has learned and enable others to benefit from what Interaction Associates does.

Dion is a volunteer Music Director for an internet streaming audio service called SomaFM.com. He curates two music stations, one focusing on Soul & Funk music from the 1960s & 1970s, the other focusing on Jamaican music spanning the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Dion is a  Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP).
