About Pachamama Alliance
The Pachamama Alliance is a San Francisco-based organization working at the critical crossroads of social innovation and sustainability.
The Pachamama Alliance has thirteen years of expertise in core competencies critical to the development of leaders today. Those competencies include innovative capitalism, systems thinking, sustainability, interconnectedness, stakeholder collaboration, and active listening.
The not-for-profit's mission is twofold: to preserve the earth's tropical rainforests by empowering the indigenous people who are its natural custodians; and to contribute to the creation of a new global vision of equity and sustainability for all.
As a leading expert at collaborating with indigenous populations, Pachamama works primarily with the Achuar tribe - an indigenous group of approximately 3,500 people occupying nearly 2 million acres of pristine tropical rainforest in the Amazon basin of southeastern Ecuador. Learn more
