IA lends leadership development tools to foster global learning

As a part of this transformative community, we will bring our Facilitative Leadership® workshop to thousands.

IA's involvement with the Bali Institute for Global Renewal — and specifically with its annual conference — exemplifies our company’s intention to help promote global peace and understanding.

This year, from July 31 - August 7, the Bali Institute will offer Awakening Global Action, an all-new seven day program providing personal dialogue with world leaders and global change agents. Participants will enjoy individualized leadership and facilitation training, experiences in remote areas of Bali, and work in specialized small groups focused on particular social issues. This conference emphasizes the important contributions of people of all generations, with a theme that embraces ordinary leaders. Every person who chooses to can be a leader and make a difference. I’m reminded of Time Magazine’s 2006 Person of the Year – YOU. What a great example of this concept.

The Bali Institute plans to build its global learning center in Ubud, Bali, a traditional spiritual and artistic center where Hindu and Muslim, Buddhist and Christian coexist. When the center opens, IA will advance its mission by offering practical workshops designed to develop leaders around the world in facilitation, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
