Interaction Associates

In 1993, we made a unique move to put our values into action. Interaction Associates became the first firm of its kind to fund a nonprofit institute: The Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC).

Ten percent of Interaction Associates' annual profits are directed to the IISC, and IA's employees each commit ten days a year to community work, including five days pro bono work for the Institute.

The IISC has worked with leaders and organizations in the nonprofit and public sectors to develop their collaborative capacity to achieve greater social impact. To this end, the Institute provides network-building, consulting, facilitation, and training services to:

• Networks, collaborative, and coalitions
• Nonprofit organizations of all sizes
• Schools and school systems
• Intermediary organizations
• Public sector agencies
• International NGOs
• Foundations

The IISC is particularly committed to building the leadership and collaborative capacity of grassroots leaders to engage, speak out, and participate fully in determining policies and decisions that affect their lives and their communities.
