On Working at IA

At IA, I have learned to ask 'the question', whatever it is . . . then wait for the answer. Only then do I, as the consultant, speak. This is a company that has branded the art of relentless and strategic inquiry as the only pathway to high level business/learning solutions that stick. This is what IA models, lives and transfers: a kind of lifeline for your business and life.

More About Me

I emigrated to the U.S. from Ghana about 16 years ago, and view my life and experience partly through the specific lens of that very primary identity: the immigrant. This not only shapes my drive to succeed, but perhaps more importantly, drives me to find appropriate ways to bring the work that we do at IA to other communities around the globe, regardless of the barriers to access. This is our work. We have something to give, but also much to learn. I am a certified power and Ashtanga yoga instructor, and am fluent in Twi, Fanti, and English.

What I Care About

I care about the scale of HIV/AIDS and other preventable illnesses in Africa and the world, and think we should all strive to do more about this. The continual support of war as a viable strategy for peace and "ownership" on the planet — in spite of overwhelming historical evidence to the contrary — leads me to believe in other political, diplomatic and philosophical options as arguably superior and certainly, less destructive.
